The Baton Rouge Police Department is investigating a homicide on Sycamore Street. According to BRPD, Homicide Detectives are investigating a double shooting that occurred around 9:37 p.m. in the 5400 block of Sycamore Street.
Two shooting victims were located at the scene. Both victims were transported to an area hospital with gunshot wounds. The juvenile female victim is being treated for her injuries. 39-year-old Norris Robinson succumbed to his injuries.
The investigation is ongoing. BRPD is not providing any additional information at this time.
