The Baton Rouge Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that happened earlier today. According to BRPD, Homicide Detectives are investigating the shooting of a male victim that occurred around 12:48 p.m. on North I-110 near the Fuqua Street exit ramp. Detectives say two vehicles were seen in the area weaving through traffic.

As the vehicles approached the Fuqua exit ramp, several gunshots were fired. The victim crashed while the suspect or suspects fled the area. The male victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene. At this time, the motive and suspects are not known. No further details are available.
