The Baton Rouge Police Department has announced it is investigating a fatal shooting that happened early this morning. According to a social media post from the Baton Rouge Police Department, detectives with the Homicide Division are investigating the homicide of 31-year-old Donald Lee who was fatally shot in the 9200 block of Great Smokey Avenue.

Around 9 a.m. this morning, authorities say Lee was found deceased suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. At this time, the motive and suspects are not known.
