Baton Rouge Police arrest Dornisha Ray in shooting on I-110 on Wednesday morning

The Baton Rouge Police Department has announced the arrest of 25-year-old Dornisha Ray in connection to a shooting on I-110 on Wednesday morning. BRPD says its Major Assaults Detectives arrested Ray in connection to a shooting around 11:22 a.m. on Southbound I-110 near Capital Access.

Detectives say that Ray was the passenger of a vehicle traveling on I-110. The vehicle was sideswiped. Following the accident, Ray allegedly fired multiple shots at the other vehicle. An adult male passenger of the other vehicle was shot and taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Ray has been booked into the Baton Rouge Parish Prison on charges of Illegal Use of a Weapon, Aggravated Criminal Damage to Property, and Attempt 1st Degree Murder.
