The Baton Rouge Police Department has announced an arrest in a fatal shooting on July 26, 2023. According to BRPD, detectives arrested 19-year-old Raiyion Harris for her involvement in the shooting death of 19-year-old Malik Clark yesterday afternoon.

The shooting occurred at 225 South River Road around 2:50 a.m. on July 26, 2023. Detectives believe that Harris and Clark had devised a plan to rob the victim of his personal belongings. During an altercation, the victim shot and killed Clark. Harris was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison for 1st Degree Murder and Armed Robbery.
