The Baltimore Police Department is currently investigating a shooting that happened on Sunday evening. According to a BPD media release, Northwest District patrol officers responded to the 5100 block of Reisterstown Road for a report of a shooting around 5:30 p.m. on March 24, 2024. At the scene, responding officers located a 58-year-old male victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment for non-life-threatening injuries. No one is in custody at this time and no other details are available. Northwest District detectives are investigating the shooting.
