The Baltimore Police Department is investigating after a 23-year-old man was shot in the 5400 block of Park Heights. BPD reports that its officers responded to the aforementioned location to investigate a shooting around 3:06 p.m. on July 7, 2024.

At the scene, officers found evidence of a shooting. Officers were informed that a shooting victim had walked into an area hospital. Officers responded to the hospital where they found a 23-year-old man suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Northwest District Shooting detectives responded to take over the investigation. No other details are available at this time.
