Baltimore Police investigating after 17-year-old boy shot multiple times in the upper body

The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting on Franklin Street that left a 17-year-old with multiple gunshot wounds. According to the Baltimore Police Department, Southwest District patrol officers were in the area of Franklin Street when they heard gunshots in the 3900 block of Franklin Street around 8:35 p.m. on April 9, 2024.

At the scene, responding officers found a 17-year-old male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body. The victim was taken to an area hospital where he’s listed in stable condition. Southwest District Shooting detectives responded to take over the investigation. No other information is available at this time.
