Baltimore Police Department investigating two shootings on Thursday night

The Baltimore Police Department is investigating two shootings on Thursday night. Around 8:31 p.m. on February 8, 2024, officers responded to the area of Paton Avenue and Denmore Avenue to investigate a discharging. At the scene, officers found evidence of a shooting in the 5200 block of Denmore Avenue.

Then, officers received a call for a walk-in shooting victim at a local hospital. At the hospital, officers found a 40-year-old male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. BPD said the victim is in stable condition. Around 9:41 p.m., officers responded to the 3000 block of East Biddle Street to investigate a Shot Spotter alert.

At the scene, officers found a 38-year-old male in the 1200 block of North Potomac Street and a 27-year-old female in the 1400 block of North Potomac Street. Both victims were suffering from gunshot wounds. The victims were transported to the hospital for treatment. They are listed in stable condition at this time.

BPD said the preliminary investigation revealed that the victims were shot in the 3000 block of East Biddle Street.
