The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred this evening on North Potomac Street. According to a BPD media release, officers responded to the 1200 block of North Potomac Street following a ShotSpotter alert around 6:49 p.m. on March 16, 2024.

At the scene, responding officers found an unidentified male victim suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Officers administered life-saving procedures until the victim could be transported to an area hospital for further treatment. Eastern District Detectives are investigating the shooting.
