Baltimore Police Department was dispatched to the intersection of North Bentalou Street and Edmonson Avenue before 10:30 p.m. on December 8, 2023, to investigate a report of a shooting. At the scene, officers found an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound.

Responding paramedics transported the 24-year-old male to a local hospital for treatment.

Following a preliminary investigation, officers determined the shooting occurred in the 600 block of North Bentalou Street.
