The Baltimore Police Department has announced an arrest after a 1-year-old toddler was abducted on Thursday. BPD officers received a call about an abduction in the 300 block of South Norris Street around 6:07 p.m. on July 25, 2024.
At the scene, officers were informed that the toddler was abducted by an unidentified woman who was driving a gray Volkswagen Passat. Detectives obtained a suspect description and began following leads.
Detectives were led to a residence in the 8300 block of Streamwood Drive in Pikeville, Maryland where they found the toddler. The boy was taken to safety. The 35-year-old female suspect was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility and booked on charges of abduction, kidnapping, and more.
BPD confirms that the toddler was not harmed.
