The Baltimore Police Department has announced an arrest in a shooting on February 23, 2024. According to a BPD media release, detectives carried out an arrest warrant for attempted 1st degree murder on 23-year-old Ray Johnston on February 29, 2024.

Detectives suspect that Johnston shot a 24-year-old male victim in the 500 block of 29th Street on February 23.
