According to a press release from the Baltimore County Police Department, authorities are investigating a fatal shooting in Essex that claimed the life of a 22-year-old man. Officers from the Essex Precinct responded to Glenwood Road in reference to a shooting on November 22, 2023 at approximately 12:30 PM. Upon arrival, authorities located 22-year-old Philip Pasingda who had multiple gunshot wounds.

Pasingda was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. Authorities learned that a second individual had walked into a hospital with gunshot wounds. It was determined that both incidents were related. Police say the second victim is a 19-year-old male who remains in serious condition at a local hospital.
