The Avon Police Department has announced the arrests of two individuals in connection to a double fatal shooting in January. APD reports that it responded to a shooting in January 2024 that resulted in the deaths of two individuals as a result of a drug-related robbery.

APD investigators continued to investigate the incident over the last several months. Now, APD has arrested 21-year-old Gavin Bollman and 18-year-old Olivia Kirksy. Both are being held at the Hendricks County Jail on $50,000 bond for charges related to the robbery.

The affidavit explained that probable cause was found that Kirksy arranged a drug transaction between Patrick Day and Samual Oliver. Probable cause was also found that Bollman provided a handgun to Mr. Day before the shooting on January 11.

The shooting claimed the lives of Patrick Day and Samual Oliver. No other details are available at this time.
