A suspect has been shot by police officers in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Multi-Agency Task Force is on the scene and will be investigating the officer-involved shooting.
In a social media post, the Albuquerque Police Department reported that APD officers shot an auto theft suspect near Sandia Casino around 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday night. No officers were injured during the incident.
The suspect was transported to an area hospital. APD has not said anything about the extent of the victim’s injuries or what led up to the shooting. No other details are available at this time.
