The Austin Police Department is investigating a stabbing that killed one man on Friday. APD reports that officers responded to a stabbing at a residence in the 8200 block of Grayledge Drive around 4:02 a.m. on July 12, 2024.

The caller reported that someone had been stabbed and the suspect fled from the residence. APD officers and Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services personnel reached the scene and located the body of the victim.

Edgar Yudiel Granados was pronounced deceased at the scene. No other details are available at this time.
