Austin Police Department looking for Hispanic male who allegedly stabbed a victim on East William Cannon Drive

The Austin Police Department announced in a social media post that it was searching for a suspect in relation to an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. APD officers responded to reports of a stabbing at 1901 East William Cannon Drive around 11:56 p.m. on October 27, 2023.

Upon arrival, officers located a man with a stab wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital in stable condition. Authorities say the suspect left the scene immediately after the stabbing. He was reportedly heading into a nearby wooded area.

During the course of the investigation, detectives were able to obtain a photo of the suspect who is described as a Hispanic male in his 50s. He had dark hair with facial hair on his upper lip and chin. When last seen, the suspect was wearing a blue-squared shirt.
