An exchange of words between the occupants of two vehicles led to a shooting in Aurora, Colorado. A teenage male suffered serious injuries as a result. According to the Aurora Police Department, officers are currently investigating a shooting near the 11000 block of East 35th Place that was reported just after midnight.
The incident involved two vehicles occupied by juveniles and young adults. APD says an exchange of words took place between the occupants of two vehicles before a teenage male was shot. The male victim suffered serious injuries but is expected to recover. The victim vehicle had two additional young adults as well as one younger juvenile.
No other victims were injured during the shooting. APD says the available suspect information is limited at this time. No other details are available.
