The Aurora Police Department is currently investigating a fatal shooting at a local liquor store. APD reports that its Major Crime Homicide unit is investigating the shooting that occurred on Friday night.

Around 8:45 p.m. on September 20, APD officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 15500 block of East Colfax Avenue. At this time, it is believed that two men traveled to the liquor store and were involved in an argument with two other men and a woman.

The argument turned into a fight and shots were fired. A 38-year-old male victim was shot. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. APD says witnesses reported that the three suspects fled in a silver sedan.
