The Aurora Police Department is investigating a shooting in the 9900 block of East Jewell Avenue. The incident happened in the aforementioned area around 9:30 p.m. on Friday. According to APD, a 28-year-old man was taken to an area hospital after being shot.

Police have not said anything about the extent of the victim’s injuries. Authorities are investigating the circumstances leading up to the shooting. At this time, no arrests have been made.
