Mount Solon, Virginia – The Augusta County Sheriff’s Office is investigating three incidents involving vehicles being shot while traveling on North River Road in the Mount Solon area.

According to ACSO, the incidents occurred on December 28, 2024. The first reportedly occurred around 1:30 p.m. but was not reported to the police until after the two other incidents.

The Sheriff’s Office says the second vehicle was shot in the area of Miller’s Sawmill Road and North River Road around 3:20 p.m. A third incident was reported around 6:45 p.m. along North River Road.

ACSO says there is reason to believe the weapon used may be a pellet or air rifle. Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 540-245-5333.
