The Aubrey Police Department reports that it is currently investigating a shooting incident in the area of North Haven Way and Pecan Creek Drive.

APD says it received multiple calls about gunshots heard in the area around 5:19 p.m. on Sunday.

Police say a pickup truck was seen leaving the area and later determined to be the victim. Authorities confirm that the victim was not injured.

A man was also seen feeling the area on foot and was determined to be the suspect, according to APD.

APD says officers learned that the suspect was hiding in one of the homes. A perimeter was set up and authorities made entry into the home. Aubrey Police say the suspect is in custody.
