An attempted robbery suspect has been injured following a foot pursuit with police. The Denver Police Department claims the suspect suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound. DPD reports that it is investigating a shooting in the area of Colfax and High.

Initially, officers responded to a report of an attempted robbery. A foot pursuit began involving the suspect. At some point, the suspect went into hiding and reportedly suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
