In a press release, the Arlington County Police Department announced that its Homicide/Robbery Unit had arrested a suspect in a shooting that occurred at South Kemper Road and South Oxford Street on December 9, 2023. 18-year-old Darnell Moore, of Arlington VA, was apprehended on December 14.

Moore is charged with Malicious Wounding, Shooting with Intent to Injure, Maim or Kill: Conspiracy and Use of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony. Authorities say Moore is being held without bond at the Arlington County Detention Facility.
