The Arkansas State Police has announced an arrest in connection to a missing persons case. ASP reports that it worked with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations and the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office to arrest 59-year-old Gene Glover in connection to the murder of 34-year-old William Ward.

Authorities say Ward had been missing since March 23, 2023. On September 5, 2024, VBCSO and ASP Special Agents found the victim’s remains in the Gravesville community near Damascus.

At this time, Glover is being held on a $250,000 bond in Cleveland County, Oklahoma. He is charged with First-Degree Murder and Abuse of a Corpse.
