The Baltimore Police Department has arrested a suspect in connection to the murder of 34-year-old Jarmal Harris. BPD reports that officers responded to a shooting in the 500 block of West Mulberry Street around 3:49 a.m. on June 2, 2024.
Inside the business, officers found a 34-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim, Harris, was pronounced deceased at the scene. BPD said that an unidentified suspect fled the scene in a red Lexus.
On June 6, 2024, BPD detectives arrested 25-year-old Aqil Tamir King. Detectives believe King was involved in the murder. King was booked into the Central Booking Intake Facility on a charge of First-Degree Murder.
