Authorities are investigating a robbery at the BMO Bank in Antioch. The Antioch Police Department reports that officers responded to the 2500 block of Somersville Road for an armed robbery around 2:18 a.m. on May 20, 2024.
At the scene, officers encountered two victims. The victims told authorities that they were employees of the Contra Costa County Event Park. After the Contra Costa County Fair had ended, the two victims were asked to make the night deposit.
As the victims were attempting to make the deposit at the BMO Bank, they were confronted by an unknown suspect who robbed them of the money and personal belongings at gunpoint. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Antioch Police Department’s Investigations Bureau.
