The Anne Arundel County Police in Maryland is investigating multiple robberies in the last two days. Officers responded to the 7700 block of Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard in Glen Burnie for a report of an armed subject around 11:30 PM on November 30. Upon arrival, officers learned that an attempted robbery had occurred at the 7-Eleven. An armed suspect entered the business and demanded money. When the victim ran into the rear of the building, the suspect fled the business without taking any money, according to authorities.
Officers responded to a report of a robbery of a citizen in the 100 block of Mayo Road in Edgewater around 5 PM on November 30, 2023. Authorities say the victim was approached by two male suspects wearing face masks and dark clothing. One suspect pointed a gun at the victim and demanded cash. The victim didn’t have cash. The suspect reportedly opened the victim’s vehicle and took cash.
Authorities say the suspects got into a black SUV with a third suspect and left the scene. Officers responded to a report of a robbery at a Shell gas station located at 8695 Fort Smallwood Road in Pasadena on December 1, 2023 around 12:10 AM. The cashier told police that a male entered the store, produced a firearm, and demanded money from the register. The cashier complied before the suspect fled on foot towards Valley Road. Although officers searched the area, they were unable to find the suspect.
The suspect is described as a male around 6’ tall with a medium complexion. He was between 20 and 30 years of age. Officers responded to a report of a citizen robbery in the 1200 block of Crain Highway in Crofton around 12:45 AM on December 1, 2023. An adult male was approached by a male suspect who suggested he had a gun, grabbed the victim by his shirt, and demanded cigarettes and cash.
The victim handed over several empty vape cartridges before the suspect fled on foot. The suspect is described as a black male between 30 and 40 years of age. He had a thin build, short bushy hair, and was wearing a gray sweater.
