The Annapolis Police Department is currently searching for a vehicle linked to a homicide. APD reports that its officers responded to a call for a deceased individual in a parked car in a parking lot in the 1700 block of Forest Drive around 5:30 p.m. on October 3.

At the scene, officers found a female victim suffering from gunshot wounds. The female victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. APD confirms the victim has been identified, but her identity is not being released at this time.

APD is currently searching for a Blue Toyota Camry with tag 9EW6970. Police say the vehicle was being operated by a black female person of interest. Anyone who sees the vehicle is asked to contact 911 or APD at 410-268-9000.
