The Alvin Police Department is investigating a triple shooting that left two men dead. Around 8 p.m. on January 17, 2024, the Alvin Police Department received a 911 call from a caller who stated that someone broke into their residence and started shooting. APD officers responded to a residence in the 700 block of Steele Road.

At the scene, they located three males with apparent gunshot wound injuries. Two of the men were pronounced deceased. The injured male was transported to a local hospital where he is receiving treatment. The investigation is in its early stages so details are limited at this time.

APD said it is looking for at least four people who fled the scene and are believed to have been involved in the incident.
