The Alliance Police Department has announced the arrest of a suspect in connection to an attempted kidnapping incident in Alliance, Ohio. Earlier today, APD says there was an attempted kidnapping of a child in Alliance.

Patrol officers and detectives apprehended the suspect before 7 p.m. in Columbiana County. The suspect remains in custody at this time and the child is safe. No other details are being provided.
