The Allegheny County Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting in McKees Rocks. Around 5:16 p.m. on March 4, 2024, County 911 received a report of a shooting in the area of 3rd Street and Boquet Street. At the scene, first responders found a 24-year-old victim with multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Detectives believe the suspect approached and shot the victim who returned fire. The victim was struck by gunfire before the suspect fled the scene. No other details are available at this time.
