The officer attempted to stop the black Nissan Rouge. The vehicle initially stopped before fleeing. A short time later, officers stopped following the vehicle. Around 5:06 p.m., Brentwood Police Department officers spotted the vehicle on Route 51 and initiated a pursuit.
