The Allegheny County Police Department is investigating a shooting in McKees Rocks. According to ACPD, its Homicide Unit responded to a request for assistance in McKees Rocks. Around 7:39 p.m. on March 12, 2024, County 911 received a notification of a shooting in the 300 block of Bell Avenue.

At the scene, first responders found evidence of a shooting. Officers learned that an adult male had been transported to an area hospital in a private vehicle. The victim suffered gunshot wounds to the legs and remains in stable condition. Homicide detectives are investigating.
