Update  – The Allegheny County Police Department has announced the arrest of a 15-year-old male in connection to a shooting in Harrison Township. County 911 was informed of an adult male shot in the chest in the 200 block of Park Avenue around 5:27 p.m. on June 17.

The victim was taken to an area hospital in critical but stable condition. Detectives say they identified the suspect as 15-year-old Albert Pittman using witness interviews and surveillance videos.

Pittman is charged as an adult with Attempted Homicide, Aggravated Assault, and Illegal Possession of a Firearm by a Minor.

Original – The Allegheny County Police Department is investigating a shooting in Harrison Township. ACPD reports that its Homicide unit responded to a request for assistance in Harrison Township.

County 911 was informed of an adult male victim shot in the chest in the 22 block of Park Avenue just before 5:30 p.m. on June 17, 2024. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he’s in critical but stable condition.

ACPD Homicide Unit Detectives are investigating the shooting.
