The Aliquippa Police Department is investigating a shooting in the area of Owens Street and Davidson Street. APD reports that its officers were dispatched to the area of Owens Street and Davidson Street for multiple reports of shots fired around 12:45 p.m. on August 25.

Authorities say a residence in the 600 block of Owens Street was shot at. Vehicles in the area were also struck by gunfire. At the scene, officers canvassed the area and found shell casings. APD believes this was a drive-by shooting.

Witnesses allegedly reported that the shooter or shooters shot through the side window without rolling it down. Witnesses provided authorities with a description of the suspect vehicle.

The vehicle was located unoccupied at Valley Terrace before being impounded. No other details are available. Anyone with information is asked to contact APD at 724-775-0880.
