The Albany Police Department is investigating a shooting at 2824 Old Dawson Road. Around 4:28 p.m. on February 9, 2024, officers responded to the aforementioned location. According to APD, the shooting occurred following an altercation between three males who were inside the store.

One of the males returned to his vehicle before the other two came outside and shots were fired. Two injured males have been identified as 23-year-old Keyvon Hardy and 23-year-old Kameron Jackson. Hardy succumbed to his injuries at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.

Jackson is in stable condition. A third male, who has been identified as 24-year-old Aaron Santrez Edwards III, fled the scene. No additional details are available at this time.
