The Albany Police Department is investigating a burglary at the Albany Human Society at 1705 West Oakridge Drive. According to APD, officers responded to the aforementioned location around 2:26 a.m. on March 19, 2024. At the scene, officers found that the front glass had been shattered.

An employee informed officers that puppies and other valuables were missing. APD obtained surveillance footage to look for possible suspects. Investigators say they are looking for a person of interest in the incident. They’ve identified that individual as 30-year-old Darius Dentrall Parker.
