The Albany Police Department has arrested a suspect in connection to the fatal shooting of 19-year-old Aaron Donye White. APD reports that 18-year-old Jeremy L. Marshall was arrested on October 29, 2024.

The fatal shooting occurred in the 200 block of Grant Place on August 9, 2024. APD alleges that Marshall was also involved in the Albany State University of Homecoming shooting on October 19, 2024.

The GBI is investigating that shooting. APD says Marshall was charged with Murder (Party to Crime) and several Aggravated Assault charges. He was booked into the Dougherty County Jail.
