The Albany Police Department in Georgia has announced arrests in connection to a homicide at Woodlands Apartments on Gillionville Road. Officers responded to a reported shooting at 2611 Gillionville Road just before 2:30 PM on November 30, 2023.

Upon arrival, authorities found 21-year-old Neahmad Alfred and 21-year-old Tyler Graham deceased. 19-year-old Kesha’ Walton was transported to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital with serious gunshot injuries.

Authorities say officers obtained a search warrant for a residence in the 3700 block of Old Dawson Road for a possible suspect, 16-year-old Wy’Travion Buchanan, on December 4, 2023. During the search, police took two males to the Law Enforcement Center for questioning.

Investigators claim it was determined that Wy’Travion Buchanan was involved in the murder during the investigation. Buchanan was later arrested and charged with two counts of murder. He was booked into the Dougherty County Jail.

The Albany Police Department said in a social media post that officers were advised earlier this afternoon that Taverance Jackson had been arrested in Orange County, Florida. This is an update to an earlier story.
