The Albany Police Department has announced an arrest in connection to a fatal shooting on August 9, 2024. APD reports that its Criminal Investigative Bureau arrested 19-year-old William Bernard Ford for Murder on August 26, 2024.

Ford was arrested in the fatal shooting of 19-year-old Aaron Donye White in the 300 block of Grant Place on August 9. Ford was booked into the Dougherty County Jail. No other details are available at this time.
