The Alameda Police Department is currently investigating a deadly shooting that occurred on Wednesday evening. APD reports that it received a call from an individual who reported that their neighbor had been shot in the 400 block of Kitty Hawk Road.

At the scene, APD officers found the victim. As officers were clearing the residence, they also found multiple family members suffering from gunshot wounds. APD reports that three victims did not survive.

APD says there is no information to suggest there is any threat to the public. A person of interest is in custody. No other details are available at this time.
