About The Manufacturer

The face behind Gundry MD is cardiac surgeon, Steven Gundry MD. Gundry got the idea for his dietary supplement when he was asked to treat people who are overweight or obese with chronic illnesses. Gundry worked at Loma Linda University as a cardiothoracic surgeon until 2002, according to the gundrymd.com website content.

Gundry designs his supplements to meet the “Diet Evolution,” a system revolving around the idea that health is only possible when an individual is “living in a state of cooperation” with trillions of microbes.

A professional license search via the California DCA website validates Steven R. Gundry as a licensed physician and surgeon in Palm Springs, California.

Steven Gundry Hippo is described as an LLC that deals in wellness products, which makes sense because Gundry MD manufacturers supplements. There is little to no information available for Steven Gundry Hippo.

Afterword – Active Advantage Scam

Is Gundry MD a scam? Steven Gundry has two active LLCs – Steven Gundry Books and Steven Gundry Hippo. Gundry books are available on the Amazon Marketplace and the official website. It is unclear if Steven Gundry Hippo is connected to Gundry MD supplements, but it is very possible.

The vendor has numerous BBB complaints regarding unauthorized credit card charges. It is difficult to imagine so many similar complaints would be fake. A few of the victims claim they were never a customer of Gundry MD, just discovered the unauthorized charges on their credit card statements.

One customer went so far as to call Gundry MD a “scam.”

There is no evidence Gundry MD supplements are third-party tested. The US Food & Drug Administration (FDA) does not monitor the production or sale of dietary or nutritional supplements in the United States. If the FDA stepped up to the plate, 90 percent or more of the supplement vendor website would be removed from the Internet, which would not be such a bad thing.

Consumers are investing in supplements without being 100% certain they are effective, safe, tested, pure, or potent. Just because Gundry MD claims its products are safe and natural, does not make it so without evidence.

Gundry MD has various supplements, including Bio Complete, which is connected to loads of scams.

    • Michael Fogas says:

It was stated in a recent video that you could take all the pills up to the 90 day point and still receive a complete refund if you were not satisfied. I’m neutral on whether that is a good business choice but it is a good sales line… if true. Your comments above state that the refund is based on what remains of the product. That’s different than the advertised offer that you will get a complete refund.
