Louisville Metro Police Department’s Homicide Unit arrested a 26-year-old Louisville man for a triple shooting that left one victim dead on July 31, 2023. Frank Jones III allegedly shot three adults in the 1500 block of Bardstown Road in Louisville.

LMPD officers were dispatched to the above area at approximately 3:00 a.m. to investigate a report of a shooting. Responding officers found three adults suffering from gunshot wounds. The deadly shooting claimed the life of an adult male and seriously injured a woman and a man.

Jones has been charged with one count of murder and two counts of first-degree assault.
