The Charlottesville Police Department is currently investigating a shooting at the Dairy Market at 946 Grady Avenue. CPD reports that officers received reports of shots fired at the market around 4:30 p.m. on July 31, 2024.

At the scene, officers located multiple shell casings. At this time, there are no confirmed injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
