The Albany Police Department has announced an arrest in connection to a shooting at Big Daddy’s on April 13, 2024. APD reports that around 5:30 p.m. on July 29, APD Criminal Investigative Bureau, US Marshal Department, and Special Investigative Unit members arrested several wanted individuals in the 500 block of Don Cutler Sr. Drive.

22-year-old Shannon Meekal McLoyd Jr. was arrested on eight outstanding warrants stemming from the shooting at Big Daddy’s. 26-year-old Raytron Lenard Lane was arrested on several warrants out of Clay County, Georgia.

27-year-old Sha’rod La’craig Hawkins was arrested for possession of marijuana. The arrested individuals were booked into the Dougherty County Jail.
