The Memphis Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred around 7 p.m. on Friday near Winchester Road and Goodlett Road. MPD reports that officers responded to the scene where they found two victims.

Both victims were transported to an area hospital in critical condition. The investigation reportedly determined that the shooting occurred at Winchester Road and Goodlett Road. One victim was treated and released from an area hospital.

An adult male victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased on July 29, 2024. MPD has released video showing a suspect getting out of the passenger side of a black four-door Infiniti sedan and shooting at the victim’s vehicle.
