Texarkana Texas Police is searching for a local woman who allegedly stole around $18,000 from her employer. As a manager, Jill Wright was responsible for daily bank deposits. In May, Wright failed to make several bank deposits, according to the press release.

The nearly $18,000 theft was detected during a financial audit. Wright was scheduled to meet with her supervisor to discuss the missing money, but she never showed up. Unable to contact Wright over the past few weeks, the supervisor contacted Texarkana Texas Police Department.

A felony warrant has been issued for Wright’s arrest. Detective Smith is asking for assistance in locating Jill Wright. Anyone with any information should call 903-798-3116 or 903-798-3876.
