The Fairfax County Police Department has announced charges against the driver involved in the May 24th crash that killed a pedestrian in Huntington. Crash Reconstruction Unit detectives have determined that 38-year-old Michael Rambudhan was driving under the influence at the time of the crash.
On July 26, Rambudhan was arrested and charged with DUI Manslaughter. He was booked into the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center on a $25,000 bond. The incident happened at the intersection of North Kings Highway and Huntington Park Drive.
FCPD says Rambudhan remained at the scene and was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The victim of the accident was identified as 54-year-old Lucius Gaskins.
